More than 15 years ago, Robert and Judy discovered a quiet stretch of the Ottawa River that would one day become The Water's Edge.

Drawn to its peaceful shoreline, natural beauty, and ever-changing seasons, they envisioned creating a place where others could slow down, reconnect, and experience waterfront living in a meaningful way.  With decades of construction experience, Robert thoughtfully brought each cabin to life with craftsmanship, precision, and care.  Every detail was designed to feel welcoming, timeless, and connected to the surrounding landscape. Judy, founder of The Hen House in Beachburg, Ontario, carefully curated each interior with a balance of warmth, texture, and understated luxury.  Inspired by Scandinavian simplicity and gentle living, the spaces were designed to feel both elevated and deeply comfortable -- a retreat where guests can truly unwind. Together, they created more than a destination. The Water’s Edge is a place for slow mornings, quiet evenings, shared meals, and memorable moments by the river in every season.
